Cooling Teas for Summer

Here are some of our favorite teas to invigorate your heart and spirits this summer:

*Sweeten with a bit of raw honey or maple syrup, or monk fruit if desired.

Add a small handful of herbs as needed in hot water, steep for 5 minutes, take a deep breath, enjoy!

Chrysanthemum Flower Tea

Mildly cooling and sweet in nature and thus both clears heat as well as protects fluids. It is especially useful when the Liver channel is overheated resulting in irritability, blurry vision, headache or red eyes. In Summer it can be taken as a daily beverage.

Lotus Leaf Tea

Helps to alleviate restlessness and clear summer heat.

Tulsi Tea


A sweet, aromatic herb that helps to reduce anxiety, insomnia and supports the immune system.

Mint Tea

Peppermint is a commonly used Chinese herb that has a mildly heat-clearing effect. It also specifically clears Summer Heat.

Promotes digestion, soothes sore throats.
